I've drawn on my eyebrows for around a year now & I love how they look, but it really sucks when it comes to wearing little, or no makeup. Especially when summer is coming up. I have a little of them left towards my nose, but it's barely an inch. How can I grow them back without it looking disgusting?
The average complete regrowth time ranges from 6 to 8 weeks so when you think about it, it’s quite a manageable time frame. Although theres no real way to speed up hair growth, massaging castor oil into your brows (you can also use olive oil) may help to enhance the growth and to strengthen the hair. So its worth a try.
It will take time but your eyebrows will grow back. I know the waiting sucks but it will happen. In the mean time, I would invest in a good eyebrow pencil and shade them in lightly rather than heavily drawing them on, and NO MORE TWEEZING! You just have to make sure you leave them alone for a while, even though you are probably used to constantly grooming them, only pluck what you really need to, outside of your natural shape. Concealer and a shimmery shadow in your arch may also help to create a shape while you are growing them out.
Seeing as we have been receiving quite a lot of questions about what color shadows suit certain eye colors, I thought I would post this color wheel.
The basic rule is to wear the opposite color shadow to your eye color on the color wheel, to make your eyes really stand out. For example, blue eyes can be complemented by orange, gold and brown shades. Hopefully this will be helpful! - Hope xo
I have a yellow-ish tint to my skin (fairly light though) black hair and kind of chocolate brown eyes.. I use eye liner on the top and mascara and all but when it comes to eye shadows I'm not too sure what colours would work best. I typically use light brown but yeah, idk, any suggestions? :)
You could use almost any shades! I have black hair as well and in my opinion people with black hair can pull off almost any colors of shadows really well especially bright colors. My mother has black hair, an olive tint to her skin, and chocolate brown eyes and coppery brown shadows always look the best on her. Hope I could help. <3 -Malia
I'm pretty dark (as you can tell) I usually just use liquid foundation (Revlon 24 hrs colorstay) and I have these dark spots on my cheek and along my chin from previous blemishes and the foundation doesn't really cover it all day. Any idea how I could fix this? :/
Use a concealer on those spots before putting your foundation on. Hope I could help. <3 -Malia
i colour in my eyebrows, whats the best way to get them to match up and be really arched and defined?
If you trim them up that can help with seeing where your natural arch is and can help with the overall look of the eyebrow when filling them in. Orrrr you could do what I do and tweeze all the hair from where your brow natural arches to the tail and completely create a new arch shape. Also, adding a good highlighter under your arch can add some oomf to your brows. Hope I could help. <3 -Malia
i have green eyes and really pale skin, and i usually just wear mascara and foundation, but i have a huge eyeshadow palette and i wanna use it. what colors would you suggest for everyday looks?
Purples, browns, golds, blacks all look good with green eyes. I would suggest the browns and golds and even some blue-ish greens and purples on everyday looks that all smoke out nicely than you can twist them into night looks by adding black to the crease and outer v and some extra eyeliner around your eye. Hope I could help. <3 -Malia
